Human Development Index (HDI).

The human development index or HDV is a rate whose maximum value is 1 and the minimum is 0. This index is calculated by combining three other indicators:

  • Health, measured by life expectancy at birth.
  • Education, measured by the mean of years of schooling for adults and the gross enrollment ratio in primary, secondary and university and college education, as well as the duration of the compulsory education.
  • Wealth, measured by the income per capital.
