Cooperatives

 

As you already know, a cooperative is a type of company. In these cooperatives the company owners are their own workers. Therefore, the company profits go entirely to them.

This is a typical cooperative:

Located in Beas de Segura (Jaén), it gathers all the olive oil producers in the village. In Spain it is very common that the producers of cereal, oil, wine, etc., in the villages group together in cooperatives to produce and sell their production.
